Transactions search on the TRON network

In order to find a transaction of a cryptoasset on the network, the help of blockchain explorers is needed. Blockchain explorers are services (platforms) for searching and checking all transactions on the network of one or another cryptoasset. They provide information regarding transactions, addresses, etc. Since transactions go through the blockchain and are publicly available, it is very easy to find them.

The search for cryptocurrency transfers on the network is carried out by:

- the address of the sender or the address of the recipient. To search for a transaction by the address of the sender / recipient, it is also important to know the date, time and amount of the transfer in order to identify it.

- transaction hash (for details, see Transaction hash and confirmation).

How to find transactions on the TRON network?

On the TRON network, you can find transactions of such cryptoassets as: TRX and USDT (TRC20).

TRX (Tron) is the main cryptoasset of the TRON blockchain. It is also the main unit of calculation (payment) of commissions in the network. In addition, for all TRC-based tokens, TRX is an intermediate currency (medium of exchange).

Meanwhile, USDT (TRC20) is a stablecoin issued by Tether on the TRON network (based on the TRC20 protocol). Since USDT (TRC20) transfers are executed and processed on the TRON network, the commission for these transactions is being paid in TRX.

You can find TRX and USDT (TRC20) transactions on the TRON network using such blockchain explorers as:

- tronscan.org;

- OKLink.com.

Using tronscan.org as an example, we will show you how easy it is to find TRX and USDT (TRC20) transactions on the TRON network.

1. Go to the tronscan.org website.

2. Paste the address of the sender / recipient or the hash of the transaction into the search bar.

For searching, we recommend using the hash of the transfer, as it is a unique identifier of the transaction and will help you immediately find the necessary transfer of the desired cryptoasset.

3. General information about the sender / recipient will be displayed by the search address.

4. Scroll down to the Transactions section..

To search for a TRX transaction, you need to:

- in the Transactions section find the Transaction Type category and select Transfer TRX;

- or go to the Transfers section → select TRX & TRC10 Transfers and disable the "Hide small transfers" function.

To search for a USDT (TRC20) transaction, you need to:

- go to the Transfers section → select TRC20 & TRC721 Transfers and disable the "Hide small transfers" function.

In the general list of transfers, find the required TRX or USDT (TRC20) transaction, depending on which cryptoasset transaction you were looking for.

5. Next, you can either look through the general data of the transaction, or click on the transfer ID, and view advanced information.
